  • This picture was taken two weeks ago when we celebrated 5 years of business. I had so much to be thankful for then but have so much more to be thankful for now. We had some minor flooding in the front of the bakery, a major leak in the production kitchen, lost quite a bit of ingredients and supplies, and those cakes you see behind us unfortunately didn’t hold up in the humidity so they melted into messy piles of sad sugar.  But all that can be fixed and replaced so I really couldn’t care less. I’m mostly just thrilled to report that all the ladies pictured (AND the rest of my amazing crew that unfortunately missed this stuff-your-face photo op) are alive and safe despite Florence trying to destroy our home.  We’ll be closed for the rest of the week while we help friends and family clean up and move forward but I promise we’ll be back to making (and eating) sweet things as soon as we can 💪 #ilmstrong
